Caught my first catfish of the season last night. Channel cat, maybe six pounds, on cut shad.
Not a monster, but it pulled hard and reminded me why I love night fishing.
Simple Setup
Circle hook, split shot, fresh cut bait. Nothing fancy. Set the rod in a holder and wait. Patience always wins with cats.
Next trip I’m targeting flatheads. Stay tuned.
