Finally replaced my 15-year-old Zebco 33. Picked up a Pflueger President spinning combo for under a hundred bucks.
First impression: smooth. Really smooth. The drag system alone is worth the upgrade.

Casts further than expected. Handles 8lb mono without issues. The graphite body keeps it light enough for all-day use.
Not a fancy reel, but it works. That’s all I needed.
