Found a Hidden Crappie Spot Nobody Fishes

Fished a new creek mouth yesterday. Walked right past the obvious spot where everyone fishes and found a small eddy behind some fallen timber.

Three nice crappie in twenty minutes. Nobody else even looked at that water.

Lesson Learned

The best spots often aren’t the ones with worn paths leading to them. Take the extra five minutes to explore. Scout before you cast.

That eddy is now in my rotation.
