Pre-Spawn Update: Water Hit 58 Degrees Today

Water temp hit 58 degrees on my home lake this morning. That magic number where bass start moving shallow.

Saw three fish cruising the bank before 7am. Threw a weightless Senko and connected on the second cast.

The Takeaway

Pre-spawn is here. If you’ve been waiting for warmer weather, stop waiting. The fish are active and hungry. Get out there before the pressure increases.

Best bite was 6:30-8:00am. Dead after that until evening.
